  • Photo of Peter Javorkai, the founder of remixmonsta

Hi I’m Peter Javorkai the founder of remixmonsta. I’ve spent my university years relentlessly organizing underground electronic music parties, but after a time it was quite hard to find new and fresh talents with the limited resources online.

Sometimes I’ve spent days of searching on Soundcloud to get the latest hot remixes, so that’s how I came to the idea to have a dedictated site for these great beats. I hope you like it!

Yazoo - Only You (Trascendents Remix)

Not many of us able to remember the legendary Yazoo formation, but their original single ‘Only You’ was burning the charts for an incredible 27-week in the UK in the eighties. The freshly made duo (Vince Clarke, Alison Moyet) wanted to make something different from their pasts, so they created this more danceable melody and put the track on the “B” side, not expecting the positive reception.

Decades later it seems there is still some craft in the track as the Trascendents remixed an EDM / Dance version of the original keeping parts of the local, but putting the track on a new base and 2023 sounds. At first sight it made me call it Happy EDM or some happy core based on how the track releases all the good feelings.
