Wassup with - PHZES

Founded in 2018, [PHZES](https://soundcloud.com/phzes) is an electronic dance trio consisting of Pat Johnston, Hayes Gifford, and Ray Davila. The three are based in Southern California having come together from across the US - Pat from Boston, Hayes from Atlanta, and Ray from Costa Mesa. Drawing inspiration from artists like Pierce Fulton, The Him, The Chainsmokers, and Avicii, they are beginning to develop a sound that stems from blending their favorite genres together. "Having come from different music backgrounds has been great in helping us to find and develop a sound that's unique to PHZES," says Ray.




With a few official remixes under their belt and a couple in the works, their Bandaid (Two Friends), How It Goes (neutral.), and [Somebody Else](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtICBGE88tQ) (TELYKast) remixes have gained artist support. "We are challenging ourselves with our next few remixes," says Pat, “by trying to tackle songs outside of our normal style."




PHZES is continuing to work hard in the studio, find their sound and establish themselves as an up and coming electronic dance trio. "It's been great working with Pat & Ray. We have great chemistry when it comes to producing, as we have different areas of expertise that mesh well together and elevate our music," says Hayes. They're excited to share more new music in 2019 and hope you stay tuned.
