  • Photo of Peter Javorkai, the founder of remixmonsta

Hi I’m Peter Javorkai the founder of remixmonsta. I’ve spent my university years relentlessly organizing underground electronic music parties, but after a time it was quite hard to find new and fresh talents with the limited resources online.

Sometimes I’ve spent days of searching on Soundcloud to get the latest hot remixes, so that’s how I came to the idea to have a dedictated site for these great beats. I hope you like it!

The Weeknd - Blinding lights (DJ Lace Vancouver 80s Remix)

I wasn’t living in the age of the disco synth revolution, but thanks to DJ Lace and his Blinding Lights remix has certainly turned back time. The original The Weeknd track was only playing with the idea of copying the sounds of the almost forgotten era, but it felt like they were too afraid to travel back in time, and tried to find a balance between modern & legendary sounds. On the contrary the Canadian producer changed the vibe completely back in the 80s’ and now it feels more authentic as we drive smoothly the 7 min long track. DJ Lace’s profile is really versatile in style from synth-pop, to dance and heavier bass, check him out on Soundcloud and Facebook!
